Today, I made melt and pour soap with pretty impressions in them, and I wrapped them in pretty paper and tied them with raffia bows. It was a twenty minute project. Just what I needed, since I am back to not sleeping well and feeling like I was run over by a truck.
On my list of things to acquire as soon as possible is a new mattress. I can't deal with this saggy old spring coil mattress we've got now. My poor back...
(enough whining. I'm off to read The Other Side of Virtue by Brendan Myers)

We purchased a new mattress last year and it was the best investment I have ever made. I don't care if I never sleep in a hotel again because my mattress is just as comfy....if not more! You won't be disappointed.

that sounds great. I really wish I had time to go out and be creative like that. I have always wanted to make soap. did you make it from scratch or did you have the soap stuff that you can melt?
